Filmed interviews with former spinning mill workers

Spinning mill work as seen through the eyes of former brusher-women, talking about looking for the ends of the cocoon threads and passing the reeling group to the spinners. This was exclusively women's work which, in the 1930s and 40s, involved very young girls (from the age of twelve).
